What’s next:
AT&T expects to close its acquisition of substantially all of Lumen’s Mass Markets fiber business in early 2026, which as of deal signing totals about 1 million fiber customers and reaches more than 4 million fiber locations across 11 U.S. states. This deal will expand investment in critical U.S. connectivity infrastructure, create new middle-class jobs, and accelerate high-speed fiber internet access to millions of Americans.
