Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam), a leading provider of telecommunications services and digital infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, announced a five-year framework agreement valued at SAR 22.5 million with CEER National Automotive Company, Saudi Arabia's first electric vehicle (EV) brand and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The partnership was unveiled at LEAP 2026, where Salam participated as a strategic sponsor under its theme, "Powering what's next."
Under the framework, Salam will provide Internet and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) fiber services to CEER, equipping the company with the high-capacity, resilient connectivity infrastructure essential to its operations across design, development, manufacturing, and distribution. The agreement is a milestone in Salam's newly launched B2B 2.0 strategy, which positions the company as the Kingdom's leading enterprise digital transformation partner, delivering integrated AI, 5G, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services under one unified vision: Yes to Possible.
Commenting on the partnership, CEER's Chief Procurement and Supply Chain Officer, Johnny Saldanha, said: "Reliable, high-performance connectivity is a prerequisite for everything from design and manufacturing to distribution and customer experience. In Salam, we found a partner that understands the scale of what we are building and has the infrastructure and expertise to support it. Today's agreement gives us the foundation we need to focus on what we do best: delivering world-class electric vehicles under a proudly Saudi brand."
As Saudi Arabia's first homegrown EV brand, CEER represents a cornerstone of the Kingdom's industrial diversification ambitions under Vision 2030. By designating Salam as a preferred provider of connectivity services, CEER is positioning itself to leverage advanced telecommunications infrastructure as it scales its national automotive program and brings next-generation vehicles to market.
Abdullah Khorami, Chief Business Officer at Salam, said: "Today's agreement with CEER is a testament to what Salam's B2B 2.0 strategy is all about: forging deep, long-term partnerships with the companies that are building Saudi Arabia's future. CEER is not just an automotive company, it is a symbol of the Kingdom's industrial ambition, and we are proud to be the connectivity partner powering its journey. At LEAP 2026, we speak of 'Powering what's next,' and this partnership is that in action."
The announcement reflects Salam's growing momentum in the enterprise sector and its commitment to serving as the connectivity backbone behind the Kingdom's most transformative industries.
