Toyota Motor North America is revving up the future of the driver and passenger experience by introducing AT&T 5G in select model year 2026 Toyota vehicles. AT&T 5G connectivity will transform the in-car experience, offering enhanced connectivity, enhanced in-car audio entertainment, and connected services.
AT&T 5G will support Toyota Connected Services, which includes safety and convenience features, navigation, remote services and vehicle maintenance. Software updates can be delivered over the air, further enhancing the ownership experience of Toyota vehicles. The integration of 5G will help strengthen Toyota Connected Services, including navigation updates, quicker response times for the “Hey Toyota” Voice Assistant, and more.
Next-Level In-Car Entertainment
With AT&T Connected Car™, passengers can connect up to five Wi-Fi capable devices at 5G speeds, helping ensure high-speed internet access for streaming, browsing, gaming or working remotely. This service can be purchased from AT&T through the Toyota app, or by entering the vehicle’s VIN at att.com/connectedcar.
Select Toyota models equipped with AT&T 5G will also have access to SiriusXM® with 360L, which combines satellite and streaming content into a seamless experience, providing drivers and passengers with unparalleled choice, content discovery, and personalized listening. SiriusXM® with 360L adds dozens of additional music channels curated to match every mood, an expansive library of on demand content, personalized “For You” recommendations and the ability to access related content.
“Toyota is collaborating with AT&T to enhance our commitment to delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions,” said Brian Inouye, chief engineer, Toyota Motor North America. “As we develop more connected vehicles, 5G sets the stage for future mobility innovations by enabling more engaging experiences for our customers.”
“AT&T has been the trusted connectivity provider for Toyota vehicles since model year 2020 and we’re proud to continue driving the evolution of connected transportation with the introduction of AT&T 5G,” said Matt Harden, associate vice president, AT&T Connected Solutions. “Together with Toyota, we’re enabling advanced connectivity for drivers and passengers.”
AT&T covers more roads than any other carrier1. We are a pioneer in connected car technology, providing innovative solutions that help enhance the in-car experience. AT&T’s 5G network has been recognized for its speed and reliability2, bringing lower latency to both urban and rural areas. For connected cars, this means faster, more responsive experiences for things like navigation, audio streaming, in-car Wi-Fi, and over-the-air updates.
5G connectivity will be available on the 2026 Toyota RAV4 with more Toyota and Lexus models coming soon. Verify your vehicle’s data plan eligibility by entering your VIN at www.att.com/connectedcar.
