SAMENA Council Announces Digital Continuity Forum 2026 in Dubai on Resilience, Sovereignty & UAE 6G Readiness

The SAMENA Telecommunications Council has announced the Digital Continuity Forum 2026 (DCF 2026), to be held on September 23, 2026 in Dubai bringing industry attention to the resilience, continuity, and operational requirements of critical digital infrastructure.

With Chief Patronage of the UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), the SAMENA Council DCF 2026 will focus on network resilience, digital continuity, critical ICT infrastructure protection, sovereign-grade infrastructure, autonomous networks, and future-network readiness, including the implications of AI-native networks, standards, spectrum, security, and the progress toward future network environments currently centered on 5G/5G-A and transforming towards 6G Evolution.

The Forum addresses a wider requirement facing the digital ecosystem: connectivity must be supported by the ability to maintain service under disruption, recover rapidly, adapt intelligently, and meet the continuity expectations of sectors whose operations depend directly on digital infrastructure.

A central priority of DCF 2026 is strong participation from the UAE ICT community and cross-industry stakeholders from around the region. Telecom operators, government entities, technology and infrastructure providers, and representatives from sectors such as finance, energy, transport, healthcare, logistics, and smart cities will be encouraged to contribute their perspectives on the levels of continuity and resilience they require.

The program will feature executive keynotes and senior-level discussions on network resilience and autonomous networks, a focused examination of critical infrastructure protection, and a session on future-network readiness covering 6G, AI-native networks, standards, spectrum, and security. The Forum will also host the WLAN Ecosystem Development Roundtable, with particular emphasis on telecom operator participation and WLAN ecosystem development.

DCF 2026 will further provide the setting for the GCC Network Resilience Joint Initiative, intended to support continued industry discussion around resilience requirements, operational expectations, and longer-term regional priorities.

Through DCF 2026, the SAMENA Council and participating stakeholders aims to advance the discussion from resilience within individual technology layers toward a broader understanding of end-to-end digital continuity across networks, access, infrastructure, platforms, and the sectors that depend on them in an era leading toward 6G.
